Sigh of Relief

I know this is going to sound strange, but I'm kind of glad that we're on a break.

Obviously, I'd LOVE to be pregnant, but that didn't work out.

No meds, no cycling, no getting my hopes up. I honestly feel for those of you who are having to wait to cycle. I know it's totally stressing to have everyone else cycling and you have to wait - so not fair! But cycling is hard. It's hard on you body, mind and soul. And I'm feeling a bit of a sense of relief that I won't be cycle for at least a month. Probably more like 4-5 months.

My body needs a break. My mind needs to rest. My heart needs to heal.

I think a break will be good. I know that by the end of June, I'll probably be singing a different tune begging to begin cycling again. Until then, I'm going to focus on getting a few of these "Clom!d pounds" off and our trip to Paris and my friends & family.

  1. Sorry things didn't work out for you this time around - I am sorry that they didn't work out for me as well. We seem to be on the same path. I had IUI done 2 weeks ago and even though I am awaiting to have an official pregnancy test next week, I already know this cycle was a bust. I just feel exhausted and mentally drained. Reading your thoughts and feelings have provided me with some comfort...Enjoy your break and hopefully we can both rejuventate ourselves the next time around.

  2. I agree... though now we are on a 'permanent' break, it feels weird not to be going to the pharmacy every week or so, and injecting, and being able to drink my caffeine!

  3. Paris?! In the spring?! What a magical way to take your mind off cycling!!
