Round 4: Headed for a cancelled cycle? NOPE!

**UPDATED: Nurse just called. I will trigger on Thursday morning, and the IUI will happen Friday morning! I didn't get cancelled!!! I will continue on the Estr0gen until Wednesday, then they will give me the Pr0gesterone when I go in on Friday. Woo hoo!!!

So, CD10. I don't know why they insist on doing an U/S on me on CD10. My follies just don't grow until CD12.

Even my lining was on the thin side, and I don't have lining problems! It was only 6.4 this morning.

As always, my left ovary was my champ, 3 good-looking follies at 14, 15, & 16. The right had three, but they were way on the small side: 9, 11, & 11.

I groaned when she was done and the nurse asked me what was wrong, and I said, "the numbers don't look so good."

She laughed at me, then said that very few women are ready to go on CD10, and that my numbers looked "right on track" for today. I trust this nurse more than most, though, because she's the head nurse and the only one who has been able to get a catheter through my cervix so far. But I also feel she's seen enough to know, and that we'll be ok.

I did ask her about the first cancelled cycle and she said that there were a variety of reasons they might cancel a cycle that early, but that I didn't have any of those issues this time, so she didn't *think* I would get cancelled this time. Obviously, my doc has the final say. I don't see my insem. being before Wednesday though. And that's just fine with me.

Please pray that I don't get cancelled! Please, please, please!

  5. My only IUI so far has been on CD10 and I thought it was too early, but from reading other blogs I think it varies. I think "normal" is whats normal for you. Sounds like you know your body and so far your your numbers are good. Best of luck!
