We're ON!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from the RE's. We had 7-8 follies on one side and 14-15 on the other!!!

My lining was 8.4 (8 is what the minimum)
Dominant follie: 20mm
Secondary: 19mm
Tertiary: 15.4mm

For an average of 18.2 - which is PERFECT! (according to my nurse anyway). They were all on one side (the side with 14-15); the other side all measured in the low teens.

I think it's pretty obvious that it's a DARN GOOD THING I fought for myself and made them boost the C!omid. There's no way we would be pushing on if I had stayed on 50mg. Go me!!

So, I shoot myself up at 1:30 today. And tomorrow I go in at 1:30. They will thaw our vial when I get there, so the IUI itself will take place at 2:30.

Unfortunately, my husband gets on a plane at 9 in the morning. He won't be there. I hate it, but we both decided that we weren't willing to let it stop us. This show must go on!

*UPDATED* I administered the shot precisely at 1:30pm CST. All by myself. I sent my husband to a ball game. I thought it would hurt, but I hardly felt anything at all. I don't feel any different, but I guess I shouldn't. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes - they are treasured!

  7. Yay! Yay! Yay!!! I'm so excited that your IUI is finally ON! Woot woot!!!
Also, very glad that the trigger didn't hurt a bit ;) I'm hoping that you never have to become a pro at it!

((hugs)) and GL tomorrow! Call me if you need moral support. The IUI itself is no different than a pap smear. You might feel a little cramping afterwards from the washed seminal fluid but that's totally normal!
