Due to Inclement Weather

So we've had the big "winter storm" - a whopping (less than an) inch of sleet/snow/ice mix. The roads are passable, yet they always ask that you stay holed up unless you just *have* to be on the road.

As those of you north of the Mason Dixon or west of the Mississippi may well know, those of us in the southeast quadrant of the US are not prepared for this kind of weather. We don't have snowplows - we have garbage trucks loaded with sand. I kid you not. So therefore, even the tiniest bit of snow and ice shut us down.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China? Well, what it means for me is that my CD12 U/S scheduled for tomorrow morning, got shoved into a CD13 U/S scheduled for Sunday morning. I'm ok with it, gives my follies and lining another day to grow. IUI still on track for Monday, seeing as all this snow/ice junk should be moving out overnight, and then should be clear by Monday.

  2. I'm in the same boat as you! My embryo transfer is scheduled for noon tomorrow and I hope my little Pontiac G6 rental car can make it to the lab!

  4. At least the IUI is still on schedule. I am amazed at how many things on my weekend plans people tried to reschedule. People were rescheduling things on Sunday due to snow on Friday.
